Dear Devine,
You can never control other people's thoughts, feelings, or actions. That being said, there are a few things you can do to try and regain trust. First, open yourself up, be vulnerable, apologize for your indiscretions and vow to try your best to improve. Have hope and have faith that fairness will prevail. If you are fair, honest, and nurturing, then you will receive similar behavior aimed back at you. It takes time. It takes a consistent effort on your part to prove time and again that someone can rely on you. Good luck and let us know how things go for you.
