It always feels so good when we are in love. Sometimes it is hard to take a step back and look at our own situations in an objective way. I think you should sit down and make two lists. One list is all the reasons why you think you love this man. The other list is all the reasons why you think the relationship may not work. You must be truthful with yourself! You don't indicate why this man is in prison or how you met. I urge great caution. Don't simply follow your heart on this. Don't get married. If this man is getting released soon, then ease into it. Just date for a while. He needs to be financially stable first. Do not burden yourself financially. Not everyone believes in the whole soul mate concept. If he is your soul mate, then waiting to see how things go, without rushing into anything, is not going to change your feelings for each other in the end. So wait, proceed with caution, make your lists, and use your brain...not just your heart. Good luck and let us know what happens.
